Requirements for the Ch. Port
title
- 4 CAC of which at least one is a CAC-QC
- given by at least 3 different judges
- graded Exc at one of the CPC Shows (Porto/Lisboa)
- graded Exc at the Club Show
Intermediate and Open Class compete together
for the CAC (thus only 1 CAC on offer per show and per sex). CAC-QCs are only offered at the
Lisboa, Porto and Club shows, so each year only 3 dogs/bitches maximum can become
Champions (though a dog may complete the title in a year different from the one
it gained the CAC-QC). So, despite the not so high number of dogs being
shown, becoming a Champion is not that obvious and many dogs never finish,
because they lack the CAC-QC and/or the Exc at the Club show.
